To provide you with a comprehensive understanding of our insurance policy, we have outlined the details and terms below:

• Coverage Amount: Our Transit Insurance covers shipments with declared booking values ranging from 5,000 to 10,00,000. Any shipment falling within this value range will be eligible for insurance coverage through our application.
• Insurance Application: The insurance application is applicable only to the following items:
  • Precious metals
  • Gold and golden jewelry
  • Silver
  • Diamonds
  • Colored stones
  • Any other metals classified as precious metals
• Exceeding Coverage Limit: Shipments with booking values exceeding 10,00,000 will not be included in this Transit Insurance policy. In such cases, the shipper is required to cover in-transit under their block policies, and the responsibility for any potential risks or damages will be borne by the shipper.
• Policy Duration: The In-Transit Insurance coverage will be effective from the moment the shipment leaves the point of origin until it reaches its final destination, ensuring continuous protection throughout the entire transit period.
• Claims Process: In the unfortunate event of a loss or damage during transit, we have a streamlined claims process to ensure a prompt resolution. Please contact our customer support to report the issue and initiate your request by sending an email to mohini.dhende@alservicesindia.com within 48 hours. Our team will acknowledge your request and initiate an investigation within 7 days to provide you with a proper report. If all is in order, we will proceed with the settlement within 15 days. Our aim is to make the claims process as efficient and hassle-free as possible for your convenience.
• Premium and Payment: The insurance will be provided by AL Services, and there will be no additional charges. Once you accept the terms and proceed with the booking, the insurance coverage will be included with your shipment at no extra cost.
• Policy Renewal: AL Services provides self-insurance, and it will be taken care of by AL Services. There is no need for separate acceptance of insurance terms or associated premiums for each new shipment as our self-insurance covers all shipments.
• Inclusions: AL Services will cover all aspects of your shipment from the moment it is picked up until it is delivered, including coverage for lost items, theft, and any missing items during transit.
• Exclusions: It's essential to understand that certain events or circumstances may be excluded from our insurance coverage. These exclusions may vary, and we recommend reviewing the policy documentation for a comprehensive list of such exclusions.
